Fashion Business Management gives a great overview of the fashion industry from a business perspective. Over the 4-year course, you will learn how the fashion industry is structured, about management within retail and grow your skills in Marketing, Merchandising, and Social Media. If you have dreams to start your own fashion business, CFD offers courses for Fashion Business Development as well as Financing and Accounting for Fashion Entrepreneurs.

The Bachelor in Fashion Business Management offers courses ranging from marketing, consumer behavior, fashion business environment, fashion production and operations management, fashion media and journalism, retail management, luxury brand management to supply chain management.


The 126 credit curriculum is designed to equip students with a broad-based exposure to all aspects of Fashion Business Management while focusing on specific concentration areas for rewarding careers in fashion businesses and industries. The diverse range of courses offered in the program introduces students to a wide range of expertise and knowledge in General Education, Fashion Business Management functional areas and Fashion Business Management electives.

Students take 33 credits in General Education courses for Personal & Professional development. Competence in Fashion Business Management is achieved through the study of 54 credit core courses, and competence in a specific business area is achieved through the study of 21 credit concentration courses. The 15 credit elective courses and 3 credits for internship are designed to broaden students’ knowledge and perspective of Fashion Business Management education beyond their field of concentration.


The concentration provides the requirements of the fashion industry for specialized professionals who still have an overall vision and are able to interact and communicate clearly. The concentration courses in Fashion Business Management, are for individuals aiming to develop entrepreneurial careers and/or for those that would like to work in the immense non-designer categories within the fashion trade. The students are required to choose the area of concentration in the 4th semester.

Apply the elements of business management including planning, operations and brand representation for fashion industry.

The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Fashion Business Management aims to give students a connection to all facets of the fashion industry from product design and development to ultimately focusing on marketing and management.
